Webinar
Is the sensor an overlooked component in AID optimization?
- december 8
- 12.10–13.00
This webinar examines the sensor's role in AID systems and explores how the CGM component may be an overlooked solution when a person with type 1 diabetes struggles with AID performance.
Prof. Nick Oliver will explore if the CGM component of ADI systems can be seen as an supplement or even alternative to tweaking pump settings or replacing the pump with a new system that requires extra training and adjustment. He will discuss potential algorithm biases toward specific sensors and explain how usability factors - such as connectivity, alarm options, data sharing, placement, and waterproofness - drive overall system success.
This webinar is aimed for doctors and nurses working with AID systems in type 1 diabetes care.
